Leatherhead & District Local History Society - Membership information

We hope that you share and would like to support our interest in the identification and preservation of our local history heritage in its many forms. Our Membership Year runs from 1st January to 31st December, and subscriptions are due on 1st January of each year. New members who join after 30th September are deemed to have paid their subscription up to the end of the following year (i.e. they receive up to 15 months membership for the price of 12!). If you pay UK Income Tax then you can benefit the Society very simply by Gift Aiding your membership.

Ordinary Members, minimum age 16,
£15 subscription

  • receive the quarterly Newsletter
  • receive the annual Proceedings
  • have access to the Society's records
  • have access to the Society's Library
  • are able to take part in the programme of walks and visits
  • are able to vote at the AGM

Associate Members
£6 subscription

  • must live at the same address as an Ordinary Member.
  • they have all the Ordinary Member benefits
  • EXCEPT
    they do not receive the quarterly Newsletter or annual Proceedings

Junior Members (under 16)
£1 subscription

  • Junior Members have all the Ordinary Member benefits
  • EXCEPT
    They do not receive the quarterly Newsletter or annual Proceedings and they are not able to vote at the AGM

Friends of Leatherhead Museum

If you would also like to join the 'Friends of Leatherhead Museum' you can do so by completing the same Membership Application Form. It costs £3 for individuals and £5 for couples. Alternatively you may go to the Museum website and print out the Friends Application Form from there.
